- Course objectives
- The aim of this course is to gain practical skills in using the methods of creative drama for education of preschool age children during games and activities. Emphasis will be put on active participation and development of sociability, perceptivity, imagination and creativity, playfulness, development of expression versatility and the ability to participate naturally and truthfully in model situations and on the development of verbal and non-verbal communication. At the end of the course the student will be able to differentiate between a didactic and a drama play, apply activities in practice, analyse the effects of play on an individual and prepare own activities. He will also be able to create an improvisation assignment and reflect on the importance of simulation and alteration for preschool age children.

- 1.Distinction between didactic and drama play 2.Warm-up games and activities, games for concentration and relaxation 3.Games for development of sensory perception 4.Action games and games with elements of miming 5.Contact games 6.Games for development of non-verbal communication and group feeling 7.Games for the development of fluent speech and verbal communication 8.Improvisation and interpretation, the differences 9.Use of improvisation as a method for interpersonal relations research, for analysis of context and mutual relations, for conflict solving situations 10.Role-playing within the model situations, alteration, perception of the differences between use and impact of play in social field survey
