Prerequisites
Learning outcomes of the course is to provide students with comprehensive knowledge of the importance, functions and classification of trade in its main context, clarify the theoretical essence of trade, its importance for citizens and factors of successful business. The partial aim is to acquaint students with the basic principles of obligations and consumer rights under the new Civil Code.

Course objectives
At the end of the course the student will be able to understand and explain the basic principles of obligations and will be able to use this information for the realization, interpretation and application of commercial and general obligations. After completing the course the student will be able to understand the importance, function and classification of the trade in its main context, to clarify the theoretical essence of the trade, its importance for the citizens and the factors of successful business. On the basis of the abovementioned competencies, the student will be able to make rational practical decisions and make his/her decision logically and reasonably correct.
