- Course objectives
- The aim of the course is to familiarize students with basics of scientific work, creation and review of research information. Students will be introduced to basic research strategies and their application to particular research problems. Furthermore, thei will acqwuire information on parts of research proposals, research questions, hypothesis, indicators. They will learn a number of important concepts and terms from the field of methodology. The course is practically oriented and students will, during term, prepare their own research project which may be used for their diploma work in special education.
- Learning outcomes
- After graduation, the student will be able to:
- plan own research, suggest an adequate methodological approach
- Construct research tools and evaluate their applicability and discuss the barriers they may encounter when implementing research. - Syllabus
