- Course objectives
- The course follows the literary seminars from the Bachelor's study, especially the 20th Century Literature that offered an introduction to the interpretation of texts with the practical adoption of the thematic and literary theoretical analyzes of literary works. The analyzed texts are now selected in the context of tendencies appearing in French literature at the end of the 20th and early 21st centuries. Objective of the course is in terms of learning outcomes and competences. The aim of the course is to enable students to apply the knowledge of literary disciplines, lectures and seminars to texts from French literature of the current period, demonstrate the characteristic elements of individual tendencies and independently analyze the selected work with an emphasis on the didactic presentation of the work and correctness of valid bibliographic standards.
- Learning outcomes
- At the end of the course the student is able to: acquire practically French literature of the defined period, define the main features of different tendencies in contemporary literary work, document the theory of examples from specific texts, recognize individual literary tendencies in contemporary literature, sort them and compare them, apply acquired knowledge and competences in writing, including Master's degree theses, but also in transformation from teacher to learners.

- Seminar, consultations for students of combinated form of study.
- Assessment methods
- Ending: credit Requierements: student prepares a presentation on one author, analyzes and didactic file from one of his works according to the criteria. At the end of the semester, an interview with the analyzed texts, their connection with literary tendencies in the French literature of the 21st century and providing feedback on the offered activities.
