- The course is for students who will write a thesis at the Department of the Russian language. Typically, in the second semester of the Master's follow-up studies, or eighth semester long (five-year) master's studies.

- Course objectives
- The conception of the course is to motivate students to write their thesis which meets all the requirements placed on it.
- Learning outcomes
- Completion of this course will ensure that the student hands in thesis agreed by supervisor. The student should be ready for a successful defense of thesis and aware of the requirements stated by a commission on defense.
- Syllabus
- The filling consists of individual consultations with students supervisor that the student in agreement with him elected. Student may after prior consultation with the supervisor choose diploma thesis or propose a package Diploma thesis - Russian Language. It is assumed that at the end of the course:
- student has chosen theme,
- student has developed a timetable,
- student handed over the project to Diploma thesis.
