- Course objectives
- At the end of the course students should be able to: (1) work with information about ecological categories (population, association, ecosystem); (2) know the difference between ecology and environmentalistics; (3) understand global environmental problems; (4) work with ecological and environmental informations; (5) make environmetally positive deductions. In the lectures, crucial problems of the contemporary human society are discussed, e.g. usage of natural resources and conversion of environment. Lectures are intent on education of students - future teachers.

- 1. Main goals of environmentalistics, basic concepts. 2. Environmetalistics in school and household. 3. Basic ecological (biological) concepts 4. Running of matter and energy. 5. Protection of nature. 6. Ecology and chemismy, role of a teacher. 7. Polutants, toxicity, prevention. 8. Energy. 9. Environment generally. 10. Environment in the Czech Republic. 11. Landscape.
