- Course objectives
- Students are able to use writing and printing Cyrillic form, read the text with comprehension, communicate in basic-life situations. Students know the basic vocabulary and the basic rules of Russian orthography and grammar.
- Learning outcomes
- By the end of this course a student is able to discuss topics within the subject areas; use the new vocabulary correctly and improved his written and spoken language.

- 1 - 2. Profession. Interesting jobs and the labor market. Education and employment. Construction type Что бы они ни говорили.
- 3 - 4. Health is the most expensive. In the polyclinic. Names of diseases. The constructions не тот, не та, не те.
- 5 - 6. Hotel. Characteristics of hotel types. Imperative.
- 7 - 8. New technologies. Computers. Internet. Conditional sentences and sentences with particles ли.
- 9 - 10. Household cleaning. We clean our room. Irregular inflection of nouns.
