- The course is designed to combine theoretical knowledge with practical activities. The aim of e-learning is to introduce students to school practice and how it works. Throughout the course, you are accompanied by teacher Dana, who is entering a new school for the first time in her career. Dana starts as a teacher of the second level (grades 5 to 9 in the Czech education system) - Czech language and geography, she is going to teach mostly the sixth-graders, in the future she would like to lead her own class.
The course accompanies future teachers through important moments at the beginning of their own teaching practice. It is divided into four thematic blocks, which are further divided into more detailed topics. The course is based on real research within the project BeIN - Barriers in Inclusion and their Overcoming - Implementation in the Environment of Czech Primary Schools, observations and interviews with pedagogical staff of primary schools and also from many years of experience of teachers and the research team. Information about the project and a useful summary of good practice (in Czech language) can be found here https://bein.ped.muni.cz/.
