- Course objectives
- The aim of the course is to facilitate the analysis of literary texts for students of German literature, namely of those texts included in the reading list for the master/bachelor exam.
- Learning outcomes
- The students will be able to analyse and interpret selected literary texts for students of German literature.
- Syllabus
- 3 texts within one semester always from one or two literary epochs. The texts are changed every semester to cover most epochs over a period of several years. (It is therefore possible to register for the course repeatedly). For the winter semester we will read German texts from the late 20th and early 21st centuries. We will provide the exact list at the first meeting.
- Literature
- Deutsche Literaturgeschichte in 12 Bänden, (Hg. von Erika und Ernst von Borries). München: Deutscher Taschenbuchverlag, 1991 u. a.
- Teaching methods
- research, presentations text analysis discussion, confrontation, cooperation The classes will be held in German, the texts will be read in German as well.
- Assessment methods
- Attendance (75 %), obligatory reading, assignments (research, presentations, discussion, handout, protocol).
