- Course objectives
- Getting familiar with the basics of research in humanities and in the arts and the "art based research" method. Development of the methodology of the dissertation.
- Learning outcomes
- Students master the basics of research, they can write theoretical text in the form of a chapter or a separate article.
- Syllabus
- Research methodology for the dissertation, outline creation and development of the research design. Analysis of scholarly texts.

- Teaching methods
- Full-time tuition 2 hours a week Writing a chapter of the dissertation, getting familiar with the rules of creating a scholarly text – specialised books, chapters in a monograph and an article in a peer-reviewed journal. Presentation creation for conferences.
