Course objectives
This is an optional subject which takes place in   1. semester of the bachelor 's study program Nature History with a focus on education in the distance education regime and which includes free voluntary self - testing for biology knowledge at the grammar school level. Self-testing is organized using online tests on individual topics in biology. The course will include the following topics in biology: 1. General biology 2. Biology of viruses and biology of bacteria (including cyanobacteria) 4. Biology of algae. 5. Fungal biology 6. Plant biology 7. Animal biology 8. Human biology 9. Genetics 10. Ecology.
Learning outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to obtain a successful evaluation in the test of the course Bpl001 Introduction to the Study of Biology. The student will have knowledge of the following topics in biology at the high school level. 1. General biology 2. Biology of viruses and biology of bacteria (including cyanobacteria) 4. Biology of algae. 5. Fungal biology 6. Plant biology 7. Animal biology 8. Human biology 9. Genetics 10. Ecology.
