Course objectives
The goal is understand the principles of chemistry for sustainable development. Cleaner chemical production using advanced techniques and methods of green chemistry wil be found.
Learning outcomes
At the end of the course students will be able to understand the principles of chemistry for sustainable development. Cleaner chemical production using advanced techniques and methods of green chemistry wil be found.
Syllabus
  • Introduction. The history of sustainable development in the world. The history of sustainable development in the country. The strategic goal of sustainable development for the country. Chemistry for sustainable development. The twelve principles of green chemistry. Applying the principles of green chemistry. Passive houses and energy efficient facilities. Use of renewable energy sources in the country. Safer Chemistry-organic chemistry. Biological plant protection in the world. Biological plant protection in the country. The ionic liquid as a safer solvent.
