Course objectives
Learning outcomes of the course unit is to gain knowledge of Russian punctuation and their rules, to consolidate the skills of correct writing in Russian, to expand the knowledge of Russian syntax, taking into account differences in the use of punctuation marks in Russian and Czech, developing communicative competence in writing. The course is focused on problematic topics.
Learning outcomes
At the end of the course, the student will be able to use punctuation correctly, explain the rules of using dashes, dashes and colon, confront the Russian and Czech syntax, apply the acquired knowledge in writing.
Syllabus
  • 1. Punctuation at the end of sentences.
  • 2. Writing a dash between the subject and the predicate.
  • 3. Writing a dash in incomplete sentences.
  • 4. Punctuation in a sentence with multiple clause members.
  • 5. Superordinate clauses in a sentence with multiple clause members.
  • 6. Punctuation in a sentence with  address, parenthesis.
  • 7. Punctuation in a sentence with a loosely attached attribute and apposition.
  • 8. Punctuation in a sentence with a loosely attached adverbial clause.
  • 9. Additional topic: writing the letter Ё; difference and use of the words тоже, также, а также.
  • 10. Punctuation in sentences with citation.
  • 11. Punctuation in compound and complex sentences.
  • 12. Revision.

Completing tasks in an interactive curriculum - after studying the theoretical basis, students work independently (make-up exercises, correcting texts with errors, writing texts, etc.).
