Prerequisites
Good orientation in the Education for Pupils with Intellectual Disability in the range of state final exams after bachelor studies, knowledge of the system of education of pupils with moderate, severe and profound mental retardation and multi handicaps.

Course objectives
The goal of this course is to teach students these topics: Education of Pupils with Intellectual Disability, diagnostics, moderate, severe and profound mental retardation, education and upbringing of persons with moderate, severe and profound mental retardation, the system of schools, special educational centres, special methodology, alternative forms of communication, pre-professional and professional work with people with mental impairment, legislation, social services, charity and non-state organizations. Methodology of teaching. Learning outcomes:
At the end of the course, students should be able to: understand and explain moderate, severe and profound MR; work with information on education of this group; understands didactics and methodology of subject for pupils with mild, moderate and profound MR
