Course objectives
Acquaintance with basic concepts of science of art and culture together with selected parts from the history of aethetic thinking. The issues of the development of culture and its function in the world of these days.
Syllabus (in Czech)
  • Estetický přístup ke skutečnosti. Z dějin estetického myšlení. Základní pojmy uměnovědy. Vztah umění a skutečnosti. Struktura a výstavba uměleckého díla. Typologie uměleckých osobností. Věda o kultuře. Pojem a definice kultury. Modely kultury. Sociálněvědní přístupy ke zkoumání kultury. Vzájemný vztah kultury a civilizace.
