- Course objectives
- The aim of the tuition is to introduce postural particles to students from the contrastive point of view. The focus is put on various kinds of sentences and also on word order and whether they are stressed or not. Presented illocutions are demonstrated on the basis of examples and practised by creation of analogous utterances.

- Functions of postural particles in comparison Czech x German Attributes of German postural particles The kind of usage of postural particles in sentences (contrastive comparison) - declarative sentences - exclamatory sentences - exclamatory sentences with a question word - yes/no questions - wh- questions - imperative sentences word order of postural particles, stressed x unstressed (Czech - German)
