Course objectives
Main objectives can be summarized as follows:
to acquaint students with theory and practice of web design;
to acquaint students with practical creating web pages;
to get the basics of Web site usability;
Syllabus
  • 1st Introductory lesson - introduction to the subject;
  • 2nd sites.google.com - wiki solutions from google, general information, use;
  • 3rd sites.google.com - a practical example, the creation of shared content;
  • 4th Graphics on the site - where and how to get graphics on the page, optimizing images;
  • 5th Picasa - editing images, creating photo gallery;
  • 6th Adobe Dreamweaver - html code editor, links, inserting pictures and animations;
  • 7th Adobe Dreamweaver - creating Web pages;
  • 8th Navigating the Web, the role of design and visual style;
  • 9th Web accessibility;
  • 10th Search Engine Optimization;
  • 11th Measurement and assessment of visitors;
