Course objectives
At the end of the course students should be able to: independent without help to work on lathe and milling cutter; sharpen tools;
Syllabus
  • 1. Safety regulations, principles of safe work on the machines.
  • 2. Lathes - description of the core parts of the machine and control. The tool and its establishment.
  • 3. Separate work on the lathe.
  • 4. Geometry tools.
  • 5. Engraving milling machine - a description of the essential parts, the machine control.
  • 6. Geometry engraving needle.
  • 7. Separate work on engraving milling machine.
  • 8. Thread cutting on the lathe.
  • 9. Drilling holes on the lathe.
  • 10. Separate work.
