Course objectives
To acquaint students with contemporary Russia: geography, culture, architecture, customs, the press, the mentality of the population. Especially in understanding the relationship Of Russia to European countries and the U.S., the main emphasis is on the Czech - Russian relations. Then develop language skills and language skills.
Syllabus
  • Part of the course content to be included the following topics: 1. Russia's international relations with European nations and the U.S.. 2. Tradition of business of foreign relations in Europe, Russia and the USA. 3. Czech - Russian commercial relations. 4. Tourism in Russia. 5. Ethnic minorities in Russia: Language, culture, habits. 6. Culture of the Far East of Russia. 7. Russia's current professional and entertaining magazine.

Theoretical preparation for the exam during the study. Discussion, presentation.

Written test and oral exam. Emphasis will be on content, pronunciation and intonation.
