- Course objectives
- The main objective of the course is to gain more scientific knowledge from education of children and pupils with physical disabilities. Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to navigate well in problems of upbringing and education of children and pupils with physical disabilities. Will be able to propose measures for the special pedagogical diagnosis.
- Syllabus
- Content areas GENERAL QUESTIONS: • Developing the relationship of the handicapped and disabled • Definition of categories of persons with disabilities • The Social Dimension of disability • Current trends in foreign care for individuals with disabilities • The education and training of disabled persons, integration / inclusion in the Czech Republic • The image of disability in various stages of life • Special educational diagnosis in individuals with disabilities • Therapy of special pedagogical care (medical rehabilitation with impaired central motoneuronu, occupational therapy, method of basal stimulation, hipotherapy ad.) SPECIALIZATION HEADINGS • Characteristics of the sick youth, the most common chronic diseases (epilepsy, allergies, asthma disease), influence on the upbringing and education of children and adolescents, and their professional application of quality of life • Children's cerebral palsy, etiology, characteristics, forms of DMO, characteristics • Children's cerebral palsy as a combined disability characteristics (driving disability associated with mental disabilities, epilepsy, sensory disabilities, disorders of communication skills). • Brain Injuries from medical and educational aspects. • degenerative muscle disease, Duchennova progressive muscular dystrophy. Additional requirements for testing • Process seminar work in the range of 10 to 15 pages a selected topic from the general somatopedických issues and one of the subject areas of specialization.
