- Course objectives
- The objective of this subject is intensification knowledge of the Russian culture. The acquirement of the relation between the study of the language and realities and the national connotation of the word is important. The emphasis is placed on the reading and listening of the authentic texts trom Russian periodicals and art literature. The students theirselves look for in the ambit of the obligatory project for texts and publications about the Russian culture on the internet and different publications.

- The content of the subject was included in the following topics: 1. Painting. Muzeums of Russia. 2. Russian music. Folklore, classical music, original song. 3. Theatre. 4. Ballet. Diaghilev's Russian Seasons. 5. Cinema. History and present of Russian and Soviet film. 6. Czech - Russian relations.

- 6 hours contact - students work independently with the Russian-speaking lyrics, seek information on topics discussed, prepare presentations.
- Assessment methods
- Fulfilling requirements. Is evaluated quality of information and also the correct pronunciation, intonation and vocabulary. Project – every student must hand in a project (in Russian) during his study. The topic can be chosen by the student according to his interests, but must be consulted beforehand.
