- Course objectives
- In the compulsorily-optional English for Special Educators A, students will consolidate their language skills from secondary school on B1 level, and develop academic skills in English (specialist oral presentation, academic writing, supporting arguments, discussion, etc.). Students will gradually develop their specialist vocabulary focused on special needs terminology and terminology connected to the field of education. They will also revise grammar on B1 level.

- Activities and tasks developing students' language skills and competencies, class and group discussions, grammar and vocabulary practice, presentation and soft skills practice, opinion and information sharing, giving arguments etc.

- Credit requirements: 1) Active participation in lessons and careful home preparation for each lesson 2) Attendance - 2 absences possible 3) Oral presentation of yourself, your field of study etc. 4) Final credit test (reading, grammar,vocabulary), passmark - 70% The student who has not completed continuous assessment and all the requirements (including active participation) during the particular semester can not be credited!
