Course objectives
History of Culture: At the end of this course, students should be able to understand basic tendencies of development of culture and arts in individual epochs.

  • Basic characteristics of culture in individual epochs in development of European civilisation (primeval times,Greece,Rome,Pre-Romanesque,Romanesque,Gothic period,Renaissance, Baroque,Classicism,Romanticism,Art Nouveau,Modernism,Postmodernism).
