- Student is supposed to have passed successfully the foundational course in phonetics and phonology in the first year of study or needs to practise concrete pronunciation items that have proved to be unsatisfactory.Preferably,the students have taken AJPV_VYSA in the autumn semester.However,it is not recommended that students take AJPV_VYSA or AJPV_ VYSB before taking phonetics seminars in the first year of study.

- Course objectives
- The course offers further practice of selected pronunciation problems,such as stress,rhythm and intonation using advanced authentic spoken texts which are analysed and practised in various forms (BBC news,Streaming Speech CD-ROM etc.)
