- Course objectives
- At the end of this course the student will be able to apply knowledge gained from the problems of methodology of mathematics for pupils with special educational needs at elementary schools.
- Syllabus
- Disorders connected to content of teaching matter of mathematics, to understanding of abstract mathematical concepts, to working methods, to non-respecting of pupils individual characteristics. Dyscalculia, content of teaching matter in arithmetic and geometry at 1st level of special schools, introduction to some issues aiding understanding of mathematical concept.
