- Course objectives
- Students will learn to work with literature, focus on the issues discussed, in practice they practice the theoretical knowledge acquired in lectures and will be able to understand the basic laws do mental development
- Syllabus
- The aim of the seminar is to extend the knowledge acquired in lectures on developmental psychology in following topics: 1. General principles of development; 2. Periodization of development; 3. Developmental changes in various stages of childhood and adolescence; 4. Characteristics of early childhood. 5. Cognitive processes in childhood and adolescence. 6. External influences and their impact during childhood and adolescence 7. Adaptation problems, disorders and neurotic symptoms in childhood and adolescence; 8. Impact of conventional parenting styles; 9. Adolescence: cognitive and emotional changes, identity.
