- Course objectives
- The aim of the course is to facilitate the analysis of literary texts for students of German literature, namely of those texts included in the reading list for the master exam.
- Syllabus
- For each term, about 6 texts from the reading list for the master exam in German will be scheduled. The titles will be announced in June (for winter term) and in December (for summer term). Texts to be read in summer term 2016 will be announced in December 2015. Summer 2016: 1. J. W. Goethe: Die Leiden des jungen Werthers J. W. Goethe: Faust I 2. Ilse Aichinger: Die größere Hoffnung Robert Neumann: Die Kinder von Wien 3. Peter Stamm: Agnes Wolf Haas: Das Wetter vor 15 Jahren

- Deutsche Literaturgeschichte in 12 Bänden, (Hg. von Erika und Ernst von Borries). München: Deutscher Taschenbuchverlag, 1991 u. a.
- Teaching methods
- research, presentations text analysis discussion, confrontation, cooperation protocol, handout The classes will be held in German, the texts will be read in German as well.
