- Course objectives
- Learning outcomes of the course unit.
The aim of the subject is to check the students' knowledge of Russian history, their ability to work with professional literature and the skill to find and process the necessary factual material, correctly quote it and draw conclusions from it.
The semester paper from the history of Russia 1 consists of writing and submitting work on a selected topic from the history of Russia. The work consists of the introduction, the main part, the conclusion and the list of literature. Content - min. 10 A4 pages, font size 10. The work must meet the requirements and standards for professional seminar / year work, have the correct graphic and language layout including quotation. - Syllabus

- 1. Culture of Kyiv Russia.
- 2. Russia in the period of feudal fragmentation.
- 3. Fighting Russia with external enemies in the 13th century.
- 4. The principality of Moscow: the emergence. The importance of Moscow for the unification of the country.
- 5. The Moscow State and Lord Ivan III. 6. Final Termination of Tatar-Mongolian Yha.
- 7. Culture of the Russian Federation - Feofan Grek and Andrej Rubljov (icons, architecture, writing).
- 8. The Cossacks and the uprising of Ivan Bolotnikov.
- 9. Jermak and the conquest of new territories.

- 11. Bogdan Chmelnicki - Connecting Ukraine to Russia.

- Assessment methods
- Term for submitting a semester: until the beginning of the JS examination period. The student will submit the work in printed form in person, in the workplace on the ground floor of Poříčí 7. The work must meet the requirements and standards for professional seminar / year work, have the correct graphic and language adaptation including quotation. Assessment will be given to the IS only if the semester work meets all the requirements and if the teacher is accepted without comments. Otherwise, the student will have 14 days to complete the repairs and editing of the semester work, and must re-submit it within 14 days at the latest.
