- Course objectives
- Students get the information about the art of science of teaching orientation and mobility, possibilities of support in mobility with other person or alone. At the end of the course students should: understand the background of mobility; know the use of personal strategies in mobility and the use of assistive technologies. Lectures are organised mostly outdoors.
- Learning outcomes
- Student understands the principles of independent movement and orientation in the area of blind persons; he / she knows strategies of independent movement and the use of compensatory senses and aids.

- Mobility in blind persons.
- Trailling. Use of white cane.
- Guiding and orientation lines.
- Making tracks and their training.
- Mobility with a guide.
- The use od personal strategies in mobility in/ and ooutdoors.
- The use of assistive technologies.

- The course credit: making practical assignments, participation in lectures is essencial. Essay about mobility in blind persons - a personal view/mobility plan.
