Course objectives
he aim is to obtain a lucid understanding of the physical principles of medical technology. Electrical methods. 6. Biomechanics. 7. Bioacoustics 8. Physical fundamentals use of optics in medicine. 9. Physical basics of using X-ray. radiation in medicine. 10. Radioactivity and ionizing radiation. 11. Basic imaging in medicine. 12. Basic technical knowledge of medical devices. 13. Classical physical methods in medicine. - blood pressure - methods based on overheating or overcooling of human body - methods based on electrical on magnetical field - ultrasound methods - radiation methods. 14. Contemporary progressive physical methods. - CT, proton source - modern methods in heart treatment - modern methods in cancer treatment - modern materials in tissue replacement - prognosis
