Course objectives
At the end of this course, students should be able to: understand and be able to explain basic notions and theorems of number theory. Exploitations of number theory in teaching of mathematics. Primitive roots and indexes.
Learning outcomes
Po absolvování předmětu bude mít student základní znalosti teorie primitivních kořenů a indexů a bude schopen aplikovat tuto teorii při řešení příkladů. Eulerova funkce, kongruence. Kongruence o jedné neznámé a jejich řešení. Kvadratické kongruence, Legendreův a Jacobiho symbol. Řetězové zlomky. Kongruence vyšších stupňů, primitivní kořeny a indexy.

  • The function of Euler, congruence. Congruence of a single variable and their solutions. The symbol of Legendre, quadratic congruence. Congruence of highest degrees, primitive roots and indexes.
