- Course objectives
- Student will be acquainted with the specific needs and methods of teaching Russian pupils. Future teachers of Russian language will be advised on literature, will be acquainted with specific activities, theoretical and practical procedures for teaching Russian at elementary schools. Students will be able to apply this knowledge in teaching Russian within their own short presentations in teaching. Students will discuss the problems of the current teacher's profession and the specific needs of the pupils.

- Sylabus of tutorials:
- 1.-2. Didactics of Russian her subject, goals, tasks.
- 3-4. Framework language learning program. Common European Framework of Reference.
- 5-6. Second foreign language. Standards. New graduation.
- 7-8. Methods and forms of work. The specifics of the initial teaching of Russian.
- 9. Positive and negative transfer, interference. Discussion on the issue of the teaching profession.
- 10. Starting a Russian teacher in practice.
- 11. Acquisition of basic vocabulary for practical teaching in Russian.
- 12. Conversion to pedagogical practice, specifics of Russian lessons

- Consultation. Short presentations. Students are independently preparing to consultation in the form of home study of compulsory literature. They individually process microprojection as instructed by the teacher.
