Course objectives
The main objectives of the course can be summarized as follows: Introducing the students to comparative studying of Russian literature; understanding the poetics of Russian literature; understanding the problems of Russian literature and culture; understanding the relations of Russian folklore and literature; understanding and analysing the relations between the styles, movements and genres in their historical evolution; learning the history of Russian literature and its relations with the historical and political conditions in Russia; evocation of the interest in reading and interpretation of verbal art, studying of secondary literature, visiting the cinema and theatre.
