- Course objectives
- Review of the state of contemporary research in the field, study of current domestic and foreign publications, integration of knowledge into the individual research work. Getting familiar with the psychological, social and political aspects of social contexts of art education.
- Learning outcomes
- 1) The student knows the basic concepts and concepts of (different) approaches to the subject under consideration, both aesthetic and sociological, able to explain and apply them correctly. 2) An art student applying this knowledge to specific artistic expressions as well as pedagogical material. 3) The student is able to take his own, experienced and thoughtful opinion on the issue.

- 1) schizm in process of modernization (enlightment-romanticism) a kontroversion in (historical) avantgarde movement 2) money and art (Simmel); attemps of universal representation of reality/values, reality of objects or relations? (critique of reification) 3) intelect and imagination (theories of emotion), how to escape from the "real world" (transcendence a transgrese) 4) language and ironic concepts of reality (from romanticism to Rorty) 5) knowledge and education; economics of information and (critiques) society of knowledge 6) junctions of science and art; heterogenity and uncertainty
