Course objectives
The aim of the course is that students will understand the methods and forms in mathematical education, formation of mathematics concepts, history of mathematics. Creative abilities in the education process, experiments methods.
Learning outcomes
At the end of the course students should be able to: understand the methods and forms in mathematical education. Use various ways of teaching in mathematics. Understand the development of mathematical concepts from the point of view of history.
Syllabus
  • The history of mathematics and the possibilities of its use in school mathematics. Education of pupils with specific educational needs. Educating gifted students in mathematics. Differentiated teaching. Creation of graded assignments and graded tests. Development of solving strategies in different parts of school mathematics. Teaching spatial geometry in elementary school. Didactics of mathematics abroad. Literature, magazines.
