- Course objectives
- The aim of the course is to expand the vocabulary according to the topics of the course syllabus and practice of washed grammatical phenomena. Emphasis is placed on the development of productive and interactive speaking skills.
- Learning outcomes
- After completing the course, the student is able to converse and discuss the topics covered; use thematic vocabulary correctly; they will improve in written and oral expression.

- Relationships. Me and my surroundings.
- Profession. Current trends in this area.
- Job market. Unemployment.
- Problems of contemporary society: social, health, safety, environmental.
- Problems of youth. The role of the teacher in solving some problems.

- Teaching methods
- Seminar. The student must regulary prepare for the seminar and do required home assignments. Individual work and group projects on given topics.
- Assessment methods
- The credit requirements: 1. active participation in the class; 2. regular assessment and doing the required home assignments; 3. an essay on the given topic which student must write and hand in (during the last study week at the latest).
