Course objectives
The course aims to develop students' entrepreneurial competence through project-based learning and project management, which are put into action by providing tasks based on the ENTRECOMP reference framework.
Learning outcomes
Students
• comprehend basic terminology in the field of project and project management
• get acquainted with the basic documents defining entrepreneurship at the European level and in the Czech republic
• reflect on their weaknesses and strengths based on the ENTRECOMP framework and find a way how to develop them
• they gain an overview of tools for more efficient organization of work and projects and learn to work with them
• implement the design thinking in practice
• identify key resources for the implemented project; identify the research pool and set up their project plan and management system; will create a budget for the project and based on it, they will choose a suitable fundraising method
• connect their knowledge and skills with project-based teaching in the teacher's practice, which can support the development of the entrepreneurship of their students

Teaching methods
The seminars will take place interactively and students will create their own project proposals. Through this experience, they will plan and eventually implement their own project, or elaborate a project proposal in detail. Preparation for the seminar includes examples of projects from practice, their analysis, and critical reflection on one's own project and one's entrepreneurship competencies.
Assessment methods
active participation, submission, and defense of the project, detailed discussion of the topic
The students can:
- demonstrate orientation on the topic
- analyze concurrency and identify opportunities
- plan the expected set of activities and tasks while working on the project
- plan how to finance the project for a period of min. 1 year
- reflect their level of entrepreneurial competence and they are able to plan their development
