Course objectives
At the seminars, students will solve practical tasks and task based on the theoretical basis of discussed on lectures. The course is conducted in Russian. Students distinguish terms of stylistically neutral expressions stylistically konotovaných and formulate the basic characteristics of individual functional styles (general characteristics, lexical, morphological, syntactic). Students learn to text material defining the essential characteristics of the stylistic characteristics and manage stylistic analysis of the text.
Learning outcomes
Student will be able to: - to analyze the text in terms of lexical and stylistic; - Assess the suitability of using the term in a stylistically diverse context and improve your dictionaries skills; - to define the essential features of stylistic characteristics on the text material and to manage the stylistic analysis of the text; - to distinguish the texts of different functional styles in terms of lexical, phonetic, morphological and syntactic.

  • 1. Stylistics, its subject. Basic concepts and categories. Stylistic stratification of vocabulary             Russian language. Stylistic coloration. Emotional and expressive coloration. 2. functional styles. Their distinction in terms of lexical, phonetic, morphological and syntactic.                           Excerpts and analysis. 3. functional style of science and its lexical, phonetic, morphological and syntactic language means.                           Excerpts and analysis. 4. Functional journalistic style and its lexical, phonetic, morphological and syntactic language means.                           Excerpts and analysis. 5. administrative functional style and its lexical, phonetic, morphological and syntactic language                            resources. Excerpts and analysis. 6. Functional art style. Functional colloquial style. Their distinction in terms of language resources                            lexical, phonetic, morphological and syntactic. Excerpts and analysis.

Teaching methods
Seminar. Attendance 90% (one absence allowed). The student must be regulary prepare for the lessons.

Students regularly perform the tasks specified in the study support. The condition for obtaining credit is a regular teacher preparation of instructions.
