Course objectives (in Czech)
Čtyřsemestrální kurz, jehož cílem je poskytnut základní znalosti o biblické hebrejštině, slouží porozumění biblickému textu s ohledem na jeho správný výklad. Základní jazykové poznatky, jsou procvičovány překládáním starozákonního textu. Výsledky překladu jsou srovnávány ze starověkými překlady Septuaginty a Vulgáty, překlady českými případně i překlady do jiných jazyků. Starohebrejský překlad řeckých novozákonních textů, je pak srovnáván s překladem do současné hebrejštiny. Část II seznamuje posluchače s naukou o slabice, rozšiřuje znalosti morfologie o verbální flexi včetně zájmenných sufixů a syntaxe hebrejštiny.
