Course objectives

The course concetrates on searching the nexsuses between the theory of chaos (designated also as theory of dynamic systems) and drama from the simple reasons. In the end of 20. century the chaos does not represent the death of order but becomes the space for rebuilting of thinking. This approach enables to see the world from diferent perspective, searching a analyzing the expresions of a would - be nonlinear reality in clasical but primarily in the plays of 20. century.

Plasticity of present - Shakespeare, Artaud, 6. Retrieving of past -Beckett, Pinter, Shepard 7. T. Stoppard : Rozencrantz a Guilderstern are dead; Arcadia - in the end of humanism 8. Back to the future: T. Kushner Angels in America; Laurie Anderson - Nerve bible 9. Orderly disorder - Elizabeth Le Compte and Wooster Group
