Course objectives (in Czech)
Kurz navazuje na propedeutický kurz harmonie. Na rozdíl od úvodního kurzu je ovšem zaměřen analyticky a akcentuje historickou problematiku vývoje harmonického myšlení.
Syllabus
  • This course offers a selection of commented theoretically-practical analyses. Students get a copy of the score - a sample is played or sung. Then, in the form of seminar, the lecturer follows with the students individual situations and investigates them. The students should acquire an independent approach towards harmonical as well as tectonical analysis. The basic material for this course is found in both the textbooks by the lecturer (The Basics of Microtectonics, The Basics of Polymelodics), besides these analyses many other situations from the music from 16th to 20th century are considered.
