- Course objectives
- The aim of the course is to get the students acquainted with both formal and conceptual fundamentals of non-transformational approach to syntax of natural language.
- Syllabus
- introduction; simple feature structures and basics of unification operation; formal properties of unification; using feature structures and unification for description of simple syntactic constructions; extension of simple feature structures to structures with constraints
