- Course objectives
- Through this subjetct the student has the chance to practice linguistic skills as reading and oral comprehension, which are quite reduced in time in the language subjects due to a lack of time. Once the student has passed this subject and Katalanstina I, he/she would be able to successfully write the exam for the Basic certificate of the Institut Ramon Llull.
- Syllabus
- At the end of this course the student should be able to understand texts that contain common or job-related language. It also includes writing personal letters in which the issuer describes events, their feelings, etc. Regarding writing, students will learn to write simple texts related to familiar topics or personal matters. They will also be able to compose personal letters describing their experiences and opinions. Students’ oral skills will be directed towards achieving understanding of the main ideas expressed in common speech and language centering on family issues related to work, school, pastimes, and so on. With regard to television and radio programs on current issues or programs related to professional matters, students will be able to understand the main points if the diction is relatively slow and clear.
