- Course objectives
- The goal is to become familiar with substantive areas of sport educational processes and their theoretical reflections. Practical goals are focused on developing skills associated with Action research and pedagogical diagnostics processes Sport Education for children, youth, adults and seniors.
- Syllabus
- 1. Sport Pedagogy in the System of kinanthropology Sciences. 2. Brief overview of creation and development of sport pedagogy. 3. Educational, psychological, sociological and philosophical determination of Sport Pedagogy. 4. The concept of sport pedagogy at the Czech Rep. and abroad (Slovakia, Germany, USA). 5. Methodological problems of Sport Pedagogy. Research methods for sport pedagogy. 6. Basic areas of Sport Education (institutions, age, performance level, etc.). 7. Profession coach and trainer. Research findings and traits of successful coaches. 8. The road to coaching profession, teaching basic skills, gradation of education. 9. Pedagogical diagnostics and self-education in sports. 10. Sport and social education. 11. Application of pedagogical principles in sports education. 12. Objectives, and the successful projects of the European Year of Education through Sport - EYES 2004. 13. Adults and specifics of sport education.
