- Course objectives
- The seminar focuses on the analysis of the modern Czech fairy tales published after the year 2000. Students learn not only the general characteristics and inspiration of each type of modern fairy tales, but also a formation of present fairy tales in the world. At the end of the course student should be able: to understand the development of Czech fairy tales at the end of 20th century and at the beginning of the 21st century, and explain it; to use the basic terminology; to explain the particularities of a young reader.
