- Course objectives
- After an introduction to the theme seminars will be devoted to the analyses of well-known literary works from the national revival period, which will be compared with other contemporary Czech and foreign literary works, in a less degree with literary works from other periods. Students make use of their knowledge, especially in literary theory and cultural history. The aim is to acquire the basic literary works of the Czech national revival period.

- Seminars are devoted mainly to the analyses of the following authors's works: Jan Kollár, F. L. Čelakovský, K. J. Erben, Božena Němcová, Karel Havlíček Borovský.
