- Course objectives
- This course is designed for students of Department of Slavic languages on 4 or 5 year of studies and Ph.D. candidates:
- who have no other opportunity to gain any pedagogical minimum, yet are interested.
- who are already experienced in the matter and are willing to develop their knowledge
At the end of this course students should be able to:
- design lesson plans
- use techniques and strategies of the communication method, teaching a group of adult people with the same native language
- know about modern textbooks and other language handbooks available on the market aimed on language of their choice - Syllabus
- Some of the topics:
- Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, Language teaching journals and blogs, lesson planning, textbooks and other language handbooks and their evaluation, feedback
- Developping of 4 basic skills - reading, listening, writing, speaking.
- Practical guide how to - design the very first lesson, teach orthography and pronounciation, execute numbers, dates and time activities, vocabulary training, design x-mas lesson
