- Course objectives
- The course focuses on learning the Belarusian language in its written and spoken forms. Students will be acquainted with the fundamental problems of grammar (declination of substantives, pronouns, conjugation of verbs), they will go through some of the conversational topics and they will gain the notion about Belorussia as such.
- Syllabus
- 1. Substantives – masculine, neutrals, feminine genders in nominatives.
- 2. Declination of masculine substantives.
- 3. Pronouns – personal and possessive pronouns and their declination.
- 4. Verb – past and future tense.
- 5. Conjugation of selected verbs.
- 6. Cardinal numerals 1-20.
- 7. Conversational phrases in the social intercourse (introduction, greetings, wishes, thanksgiving).
