Course objectives
Seminars will be primarily aimed at analyses and interpretations of works of fiction (novels)from 1969 to 1989. Attention will be also paid to the general social-historical context, critical reception and the issue of literary genres. At the end of this course, the student will be able to understand a literary text; interpret works in their historical context; work creatively with secondary literature; clearly formulate scholarly conclusions based on available information; students will be able to think about literature critically. A part of this course is devoted to works from the list of required reading
