- Course objectives
- The aim of this comparatistics oriented seminar is to deal with the works of Czech and German 19th century literature. We will try to capture the depiction of important people and events of Czech history (the Hussite movement, for example) and the depiction of mythological characters (e. g. Libuše, Vlasta). We shall not omit the question of reception and translation, too. If there exists a translation, we will prefer the original work and the translation will just be taken into consideration.
- Syllabus
- The specific assesment of each seminar will be specified in the introductory lesson, with regard to existing experience of registered students.
